Evil Avatar has reviewed Funatics' RPG/Adventure/Action/Collecting game Zanzarah, which has so far only be released in Germany and the UK. No final rating is given, but the author was quite impressed with it. Here's a bit from the premise:
There were once three worlds, all connected, all in harmony: the realm of humans, the realm of fairy, and the realm of Zanzarah, where magic flourished. Then humans became afraid of magic, and persecuted the elves, goblins and dwarves with fire and violence. So the White Druid sealed Zanzarah away, and our world lost fairies, magic, and the memory of when we once lived side by side with wonder.

...and a bit from the conclusion ;)
Zanzarah is a sweet game, with lilting music and beautifully simple gameplay. It was lovely and delightful. Altogether charming. All of which sounds sarcastic but is in fact the utter truth. No big adrenaline moments, no splatter or screams or disgusting monsters – although the fairy Jumjum is kinda depressing looking – this was just a really nice game.
