The game is rated 8/10, and their conclusion is very complimentary: But looking at the whole picture I can confidently say that these problems were only minor obstacles that hardly impeded my ability to enjoy the game all the way through. The combination of open-ended exploration, old-school RPG dynamics, and interesting storyline make Arx Fatalis one of the most entertaining first-person RPGs currently on the market. If you’ve already made your way through Morrowind and want to try something different, then Arx Fatalis may be just what you are looking for.
