The Outer Edge has reviewed NWC's/3DO's latest (and last?) installment in the Might & Magic RPG series, rating the game at a not too favorable D+.

Here's an excerpt:
Might & Magic IX has been a tough game to review. From a technical and design stand point, it fails in many regards. In fact, it does not even meet many 'average' expectations. However, as a huge fan of the series, I can find SOME enjoyment in the game. Just as Might & Magic VIII was more enjoyable than it would have been to a typical gamer, so too is IX. Sadly however, the game still mostly disappoints more than any title before it and as such, leaves me with a longing for those times gone by.
