Square-Enix's Final Fantasy X-2 has been evaluated at RPG Radar where it met a moderate response, resulting in a score of 3/5:
Final Fantasy X-2 is a tough one to rate. It is an adequate game, for sure…but nothing that will touch you like the previous installment. So here is a very own checklist of if or if not you should buy this Final Fantasy. If you love all types of turned-based battle systems, if you won’t mind waiting for the story to pick up until the last couple hours, if you are interested in what happens after you defeat Sin in Final Fantasy X, if you like good graphics, and if you like touching your mute button on your remote many times. If all of those have a good nod on your head, then give it a go, and tell Square-Enix you appreciate their efforts in the first direct sequel to a Final Fantasy ever.
