Just in case you haven't had enough of them yet: XGR has done a review of Warcraft 3. The reviewer is very pleased by what he saw, giving the game a rating of 97% and offering this conclusion:
So, we started off the review asking questions so it's only fit to end with some - Is Warcraft III the best Real Time Strategy title ever? Is it a contender for Game Of The Year? First things first - personally, Warcraft III is the most fun I have ever had playing an RTS bar none. I can't think of another title that had me on the edge of my seat just needing to get past that one level to get the next unit, see the next in-game cinematic, and, possibly, one of the big-budget movie-quality cinematic cutscenes. So, I would say it is definitley the Best Real Time Strategy title I have ever played or seen. Now, is it a contender for Game Of The Year? Most definitely but there is some bigtime competition that has had as much (if not more) anticipation and hype. For example, Unreal Tournament 2003 (Demo? Hello?!?!), Battlefield 1942 (absolute front-runner at this point), and I am sure there is a game out there that is going to come out of nowhere and take us by storm (possibly Ghostmaster) but until any of these gets to store shelves (and even after) I highly recommend Warcraft III.
