In the year 2296 on an Earth radically reshaped by an event known as The Fall, the scattered remnants of human civilization fight daily simply for survival. The Skel, the alien race responsible for The Fall, have retreated to the Outlands, their ranks ravaged by the Doomsday War. The lands are prowled by mutants, bioengineered life and other alien horrors. The world can barely be recognized as the Earth that we know today.

This is the world in which players of Twilight War: After the Fall will make their stand. The game, dubbed an XORG, Extreme Online Roleplaying Game, by its developer Smiling Gator Productions, plans to mix exciting and fast-paced FPS game-play with the depth and expansive storyline of an RPG. They will also harness the graphical power of the Source Engine to greatly enhance the experience.
