Bard's Tale Construction Set: 5/10 points |
Fun to tool around with, but it's been done better by others. |
Darklands: 9/10 points |
Huge, non-linear world you could explore for weeks, great character creation, novel magic system (combintation of medieval alchemy and praying to saints). Unfortunately released with a ton of bugs, but they were eventually patched. If you can find the final patched version (7.something, I think), do yourself a favor and try it.
A solid contender for the "most worthy of a modern remake" award. |
Neuromancer: 7/10 points |
Fun adventure game with some great moments- my favorite was learning the social security # of some jerk who kept me out of a place I needed to enter, hacking into a police database, getting a warrant put out on him, and then going back to find him out of the way. Unfortunately, the game as a whole is starting to show its age. |
Ultima 6 - The False Prophet: 9/10 points |
The Gargoyles remain some of my favorite characters to this day. |
