The latest Iritor Online Dev Diary has been published at RPGVault. Chief Creative Officer Roman Kremlicka talks about the character development system in this upcoming futuristic MMORPG:
The game starts with character creation where the user is confronted with stats familiar to role playing game veterans. The basic description is handled by the six attributes and three vitals.
The attributes of quickness, strength, dexterity, vitality, focus and energy determine how well you are suited to perform in different roles. Strong characters are naturally better suited to use heavy weaponry and characters with high energy have a good foundation to handle the grid.
The vitals, on the other hand, represent the current status of your character; the hit points indicate how much damage you can sustain before you die, stamina describes how much physical activity you can perform before being exhausted, and the energy pool is the representation of how much you can channel the grid before you need to recharge.
To complete the new built character you can choose to train a variety of skills that are organized in a tree structure. There are 7 different branches. |
