The pace quickens, now that E3 is over, and the good folks over at Deck13 are keeping busy - though not too busy to send us the first in an exclusive series of "Developer Diaries" as we follow the progression of Ankh: The Tales of Mystery to it's successful release...

Diary - Jul 11th 05

And here we are, starting our developer's diary, right in the middle and facing problems - but these are business as usual for game developers...

Today we've built a ferry - in fact THE ferry, which should take Assil across the Nile. And
yes, it even almost takes him there. ALMOST... Well, we're working on it.

Giza, the mystic place in the desert, is nearing completion. A lost caravan has already arrived. Again, almost.
Maxime is adjusting the Sphinx geometry. As you might have guessed, the Sphinx keeps a huge secret. That is, as soon as Maxime has finished the job.

Armin and Gregor are fighting with the camels that just don't do what they are supposed to: standing around, chewing and looking foolishly. We'll see who will succeed... :)

Thank you, Claas Wolter & the Ankh Development Team:-)
