TeamXBox has conducted an interview with the team responsible for the art in LucasArts' gladiator themed action RPG for XBox. Here's an excerpt:In the design of the character classes and character types, how historically accurate were you?
Cathy F: Initially, when we began to design the character classes, we wanted to remain as historically accurate as possible. But it soon became apparent that true accuracy would severely limit our scope as a role playing game. We made the decision that it was much more compelling for the player to have control over beasts and spellcasters than to remain strictly true to history. |
