A couple of weeks ago I was notified by someone from evillusion that he and some others would be leaving the company, which basically would leave the company without some major developing talents. A week or two after that I was notified that those who departed would continue to develope Eon of Tears on their own.
In case you don't know it Eon of Tears is a game where you have the possibility to play as Moses, Jezus and many more.
Shortly after that Evillusion send out the word that they are still developing Eon of Tears and that the game is schedule for release in 2004. They also state that the game will not be different from what is already known.
I had some e-mail trafic with both parties on this subject, but as I never told them that I would make those public I won't share them with you ;)
At the moment I don't know what will happen with either party and/or the game. It's a "wait and see" situation now. That said Evillusion did send in the answers to my questions I already send them 2 months ago. That I will share with you in a day or two.
I do hope that it's not the end of the game, it showed a novel approach and I would like to see how they pull things off (whoever "who" is in this case ;-) |
