Morrowind Review at Raveware UK

It's interesting to see how someone who isn't kneedeep into RPGs reviews Morrowind. Well, this is what happened at Raveware UK. Look at this first paragraph:
I'll get this out of the way at the beginning; I've never really been a fan of RPG's. So I'm not really sure what it was that appealed to me about Morrowind when the preview shots and press releases started appearing from Bethseda Softworks. It certainly wasn't the tedious sounding plotline. Or the yawn-inducing "100+" hours of gameplay boast. Balder's Gate bored me to tears, and Diablo (though more arcadey than most RPG's) almost drove me to despair. In fact, if I had been a sensible sort of person I think I would have steered well clear of this, the 3rd instalment of the Elder Scrolls series, just to be on the safe side.
Which would have been a real shame, as I would have missed out on one of the most engrossing, detailed and downright enjoyable PC games I've played in a long time.
The rating is a solid 8/10. Nicely written, by the way...
