One night while working on Kotor Tool's Conversation Editor, I realized that I could change the text of a conversation while SW:KotOR was running and have those changes show up in the game without reloading. Thus was born the idea for a wristwatch device.

The 'wristwatch' consists of a helper application that updates the device's data every 10 seconds, the watch's files, and a replacement spells.2da file. If you want to preserve your own spells.2da file in your KotOR override folder, do so before launching the setup program.

To use the wristwatch, first start the helper app (Start | Programs | Fred Tetra | Run Wristwatch). Next, start KotOR and use the "giveitem ft_watch" command from the cheat (">") prompt to get the device, equip it, then "use" it while back in the game.

To uninstall, just use the "Add or Remove Programs" control panel in Windows.
