My especial thanks to Anatoly Krysow from Lullaby Studios for sending along a press release announcing their new adventure title, Hidden Rooms...

What is hidden from you in the back of beyond?

Lullaby Studios presents “Hidden Rooms”

"Young journalist Valentina works for the ‘abnormal cases’ department in one of Moscow’s newspapers. Alas, sooner or later, all the abnormal events turn out to be strange coincidences in an insane quiz. Valentina’s investigation leads her to a mysterious room which is not indicated on the building blueprints. This place just doesn’t exist. Val’s anxiety for revealing the riddle leads her deeper into the bizarre and unapproachable world of Hidden Rooms – a ruthless and painfully attractive unreality. Soon enough, Valentina realizes dangers following her. Her only chance to escape the nightmare that already looks infinitive is to gain advantage over her fears and the chasing murderer…"

Welcome to the world of Hidden Rooms – a classical point & click adventure. This is the first project from newly formed Lullaby Studios – a team of game developers from all over Europe. Hidden Rooms is being built upon the pressing 2.5D engine, WME, that opens a wide range of possibilities for the developers.

General features of “Hidden rooms”:

• more than 10 unique ground-breaking puzzles, animated to the smallest fragment;
• more than 35 non-player characters each with its own personality;
• 9 game worlds (about 50 completely different locations), each with it’s own style and attitude;
• animated backgrounds – each location in the game world has its behavior and individuality: heavy, creeping fog, wind is dancing with some fallen leaves on the dusty asphalt;
• freezing soundscapes;
• reasonable system requirements make it possible for every adventure gamer to play the game.

Wait for future announcements at the official site.
