ReadySetGamers has a quick review of Final Fantasy 11 with a score of 9.4/10, so they were obviously pretty impressed:
You live in a world called Vanadiel. Vanadiel has four primary nations living within it. They are Windurst, Sandoria, Bastok, and Jeuno. The four primary nations would battle for superiority over Vanadiel, until the “Shadow Lord” came along with his horde of “beastmen” and ripped the world apart. Each of the four nations suffered severe casualties. In an effort to stop the shadow lord and his beastmen, the four nations made an alliance to work together to defeat the beastmen and their leader, the Shadow Lord.
