The community has totally turned me off to the game. There is no role-play that I have found, but just mindless profanities and vulgarity that would make a sailor blush with shame. The level grind is almost unbearable after lvl 16 or so and the skills are dull and unimaginative compared to other similar games such as EQ or DAoC. Money (or lack thereof) is another issue. It is ridiculously difficult to get "ahead" or just to a point that you can buy decent weapons and armor, unless you slaughterd hundreds of thousands of monsters two levels below you just to get their gold. I don't know about the rest of the community, but even understanding that some redundancy is necessary, Lineage II takes the prize for monotony. Are there good things? Yes, the graphics engine is awesome. Anything else? Not that I have found yet that's not done much better by someone else.
