City of Heroes is a game in which you are, well, a hero. And, as a hero, you will be quite unique. The character creation is an incredibly FUN part of the game as opposed to being another formality before actually playing the game. It is highly recommended that you come up with a character concept and have a general idea behind the character before you enter character creation. There are just so many options for you to choose from when it comes to power sets alone, not to mention the vast array of costume choices.
