A new preview of Morrowind for the XBox has been published at Gamers.com. It's a short one, and nothing really new can be learned from it, but anyhow, here's a snippet:
Graphically, Morrowind is a mixed bag. The environments are lush with vegetation, caves, and small buildings. The water effects are probably the best I've seen in any game, and that's no small feat when you consider that Xbox is home to some great water effects in Dead or Alive 3, Halo, Wreckless, and Blood Wake. Character models, however, leave a lot to be desired?textures seem to be slightly washed-out, and it's easy to see the polygon seams. Draw-in distance is poor, but since this is a work in progress I'll give BethSoft the benefit of the doubt and hope for the best.
If that all holds true: hail to the PC *G*
