A reviewe of Wizardry 8 has just been posted at BlueMonday. With a very positive rating of 9.4 this fits well into the majority of reviews we have seen so far. Their summary reads like this:
Wizardry 8 is easily the best RPG published during the last 12 months, and it’s now definitely part of my all-time favorites list (which is really pretty short). The reasons why Sir-Tech had so many troubles to get it published are still a mystery (or not, depending on how much you know about the industry), but the whole issue makes it an even greater achievement.
I still hope to see a new Wizardry some day, but even if it never happens, this game brought a truly fantastic end to the saga. I don’t think I need to tell you this game is a must have for any fan of the series, but even if you never heard of it before, Wizardry 8 is a game no player can afford to miss.
