RPG Vault has interviewed MiST land's CEO and Project Leader Vitaly Shutov about his company's recently unveiled (story) RPG/strategy title 'Power of Law'.Jonric: To start off with an overview, what kind of game is Power of Law, what's it about, and what types of gameplay is it intended to offer?
Vitaly Shutov: At the present time, we have confirmed the full name, C.O.P.S.2170: Power of Law. It is a tactical strategy game with a lot of RPG elements. The game has a very sophisticated plot and several variants of the ending that depend on the player's results. The main element of the game is taking part in tactical battles, usually involving great numbers of people.
The large-scale character of those battles is probably the most distinctive feature of the game. Minor gangs are definitely not what you will have to contend with. In Power of Law, you will have to withstand the assaults of several powerful adversaries. Although the player can recruit only six officers, every mission is a full-scale police operation in which other squads take part, and your enemies also have allies. And, of course, it is worth mentioning that you will be impressed with the great amounts of different elements. |
