RPG Vault is sharing some first impressions from playing Object Software's Asian-flavored RPG 'Seal of Evil'.More than two millennia ago, many philosophers of Ancient China held to the belief that the world was made up of five basic, familiar elements bound together in two different circles. In one, Metal promoted Water, which in turn supported Wood, continuing on through Fire and Earth before closing the loop by returning to Metal. The other ring had Metal restricting Wood, then Earth, Water, Fire and back to Metal. The followers of this popular theory used it to explain everything they saw around them. Accordingly, it plays quite a significant role in Seal of Evil, developer Object Software's Seal of Evil, its historically themed action RPG that takes place over 22 centuries ago, during the last few years of the Warring States period that ultimately ended with Qin, pronounced "chin", conquering its neighbors and attaining a position of dominance. |
