The folks at Computer & Video Games posted the second part of their extensive interview with Big Blue Box about their X-box RPG Fable. They talked with managing directors Dene and Simon Carter and art director Ian Lovett, about their relationship with Peter Molyneux, how they become involved with Xbox and many other things: Have there been any major disagreements with Molyneux over the direction of Fable?
Simon: Not really. I think it helped that we've worked with him for quite a few years already, on Dungeon Keeper... [pulls pained expression]
Dene: Simon's still got the twitch [laughs]. We started Fable in exactly the same bedroom we finished Dungeon Keeper in.
Simon: Yes, two years of Dungeon Keeper were in one of Peter's back rooms and there were six of us there at the time. For the first two-and-a-half years of Big Blue Box, before we had a publishing deal - the cold, dark years - we were in the same room. I lived about five yards around the corner. That didn't do my sanity any good at all.
