Shadowrun game to be revealed at E3?

Various boards have buzzed with rumours of an upcoming Shadowrun game - and the be honest, the splash screen at the FASA site seems to make it a certainty. We haven't raised it previously because the rumours (and the tagline on the image) have suggested an Xbox 360 action game as much as an RPG. Enter GameSpot's Rumour Control, which might have some inside information suggesting a dual-platform Deus Ex -like action/RPG:
When asked about a 360 Shadowrun, Microsoft gave its usual non-denial denials, and the project quickly faded into the back of most gamers' minds. But that changed this week, when a teaser page appeared on the official FASA Website. It shows blue silhouettes of a dwarf, elf, human, and what could be an orc, troll, or minotaur--all holding what appear to be futuristic rifles and pistols. Were that not enough, the human figure at far left has what appears to be wielding a katana, the signature weapon of one of Shadowrun's most popular character classes in Shadowrun--the street samurai.

The timing of FASA's teaser campaign make it almost assured that Shadowrun will be unveiled at E3 for the Xbox 360. However, an informed source told GameSpot this week that the game won't be exclusive to the console. According to the source, Microsoft will also use E3 to unveil Shadowrun as part of its reinvigorated push for PC gaming. Unfortunately, the game will reportedly only be compatible with Windows Vista, meaning it won't available until the first quarter of 2007--at the earliest.
