HomeLan Fed have conducted an interview with Strategy First producer Ariel Gauthier and lead designer Ethan Petty about Disciples II: The Rise of The Elves:
HomeLAN - What can you tell us about the new playable race in the expansion, the Elves?

Gauthier and Petty - Our Elves are designed to adapt to many situations. Their archer line is unequalled by the other races, and they have an archer for every occasion. Elves in general are incredibly fast, but unable to take as much damage as their rivals. They are best suited to preemptive strikes, annihilating the enemy’s back row in the first couple of rounds. However, the Centaurs are part of the race as well, and while they make a nice wall for the front row, they are pretty slow. We still have some balancing to do once we get results back from QA, but so far it seems that the Elves will require a lot more planning in progression than we’ve seen before.
