Question: Will the gods of EQ2 have a bigger role than in the first game ?

Chris Cao: Long before the cataclysms of The Shattering destroyed the physical realms of Norrath there was a great upheaval in the supernatural realms. The details of that age remain, for now, lost to the confusion the cataclysms created. What is clear is that some have come to question their faith in the face of such catastrophic destruction. Others have all together abandoned the worship of gods that seem so distant in a time of such strife and chaos. And yet, there are a tenacious few who hold true to their traditions, who still call upon their gods in prayer, who trust the presence and power of their deities. It remains to be discovered how the greater powers, including the gods of old, will chose to change the broken world.
