Gothic scores two RPG of the year awards!

The most important German print mags, PC Games and Gamestar, revealed their choices of the games of the year 2001.
Gothic won the PC Games award for "best RPG", second was Anachronox, third Pool of Radiance 2.

At the "GameStar 2001 Awards" Gothic collected two trophies, one as "best adventure" and one for the "best game world". The detailed rankings:
best adventure award: 1.Gothic 2.Dark Age of Camelot; Nominations: Harry Potter, Lord of Destruction, Throne of Bhaal.
best game world: 1.Gothic 2.Operation Flashpoint; Nominations: Flight Simulator 2002, Tropico, Harry Potter
