Almost four years to the day, Gas Powered Games released the original Dungeon Siege, an enjoyable romp through an original fantasy world. It was mostly an action RPG, with a constant but manageable flow of combat, with great music and great visuals for the time. There wasn't a lot of story to go around, and the role-playing elements were rather threadbare, but it was entertaining nonetheless. In the meantime, we've seen Legends of Aranna, which was solid but not quite as satisfying, and buzz on the proper sequel, due this August, has remained low. Well, it's arrived on my desk and I've gotten my feet wet, and the results are promising.
