RPG Vault has an interview with Joshua Hong from K2 Network about the revenue model in 'Knight Online':Jonric: What would you like readers unfamiliar with Knight Online to know as an introductory overview?
Joshua Hong: Knight Online is first and foremost an online fantasy role-playing game with a fundamental difference from most other MMOs. This difference is the PvP element. Our players immensely enjoy the versatility of this concept. The PvP idea is taken to the Nth degree in a game that has an evolving conflict between two nations, Karus (Orcs) and El Morad (Humans). The game is designed around a party system and has many clan battles, large-scale castle siege wars and lunar wars with thousands of players engaging in PvP. It is also the first game designed with both Asian and American elements. |
