NW Vault has popped up a preview of CDProjekt's 'The Witcher'. Here's a sample:
Besides Dragon Age, the next coolest thing I saw at E3 as a fan of NWN, was the total conversion titled "The Witcher" done by the Polish company CDProjekt. Going back to E3 of last year they were speaking to BioWare about the problems they were having in creating all the tools needed to make a roleplaying game and mentioned how great it would be if they could licence the Aurora engine which drives NWN. Well that off the cuff discussion over beer, turned into the first licence of NWN's engine and in July they had the source code for Aurora and the support of BioWare. In the 8 months since September, they have done an unbelievable job in creating a game that looks so good you'd never know is was NWN.
Linked from the preview are some info pages, screenshots and a translated short-story by Adrzej Sapkowski, the author behind the original books.
