(PC: MMORPG) | Posted by Moriendor @ Friday - August 20, 2004 - 03:12 - Top | Game Info | Rate this game | Homepage | Screenshots We recently reported about a credit dupe that was making its rounds in 'Star Wars Galaxies' (story). The statement from SOE was strangely worded as they were threatening to ban all people with illegitimate credits, no matter where the credits were coming from. It seems like a great number of innocent people have now been suspended or banned for receiving large amounts of money for totally legal in-game services or legal trades etc. There are threads on the subject in just about every galaxy (server) forum but this one right here is really remarkable. Let's hope that the truly innocent are unbanned ASAP and that SOE more thoroughly investigates credit transfers before wielding the ban stick. There's such a high number of people affected that it seems hard to believe that SOE only zapped real dupers.
