EverQuest II is set 500 years after the original game. Once again you assume the role of a gallant adventurer as you traipse through the new and improved Norrath. The world has changed over the half millennia since we all last visited. For one thing Norath’s moon, Luclin, exploded in big blaze of glory. Naturally this altered the landscape a little. The superpowers of Norrath, Freeport, and Qeynos are on the brink of war. As the proverbial doomsday clock turns one minute to midnight, the inhabitants of Norrath can only watch and wait.
