Several upates have been made over at the official World of Warcraft site. First up is the announcement of the publication of the Gadgetzan Times.Hitting newstands around Azeroth is the latest, most informative and entertaining magazine in all of Azerothian history: the Gadgetzan Times! Published by Sparkle Entertainment Lightning & Fireworks, the Gadgetzan Times will bring the far reaches of the world right to your doorstep. From the Plaguelands to Tanaris, and everywhere in-between, the hard-working goblins will be filing their reports and interviews with the head office, leaving no stone unturned in their quest for interesting, provocative, humorous, or just plain quirky stories.

Following close on the heels of the art updates are details of the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational 2006.The Blizzard Worldwide Invitational 2006 is currently taking place in Seoul, Korea at the COEX Exhibition Hall. Home to the Warcraft III Season Three Finals and Blizzard's very own StarCraft Invitational, Blizzard is also proudly showcasing World of Warcraft and its expansion set, World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade.
Worldwide Invitational attendees that come to the show have a rare chance to take a sneak peek at the Blood Elf starting zone from The Burning Crusade, and to compete for prizes in the Arathi Basin Battlegrounds mini-tournaments. Live coverage of the tournaments and panels on the main stage can be found on Into the Game's video and audio stream here.
Additionally, World of Warcraft themed live quests, a World of Warcraft History zone and a chance to sit in and listen to developer panels with lead designer Tom Chilton, are just some of the other events available at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational 2006. Last but not least, is news of another concert season featuring Video Games Live.Video Games Live will be performing its first concert of 2006 in San Jose in conjunction with the Game Developers Conference on Friday, March 24th at 8pm at the Civic Auditorium in San Jose, CA. The concert will feature over 20 games, including our very own World of Warcraft, which will feature a special video edit done by the World of Warcraft team themselves! The video will be set in perfect synchronization to the music performed live by the Symphony Silicon Valley and choir. This is the same concert that debuted in 2005 to great acclaim at the Hollywood Bowl to over 11,000 screaming video game fans in Los Angeles.
