RPGVault has published the third Freedom Force Interview, talking to Irrational Games’ General Manager and Creative Director Ken Levine about the superheroe RPG they have in the making. You can find five new screenshots there, too. Here's a snippit:

Jonric: Relatively little is known yet about the super-powered villains. Can you tell our readers anything more than they already know? Will their super powers all differ from those of the heroes, or will it be possible for some heroes to end up fighting their evil twins?

Ken Levine: Evil twins? In a silver age themed superhero game? Never! Well, maybe…

There eight super villains in the game, as well as numerous minions for each. All, I repeat, ALL powers, will be available to the custom characters the player may create. Freedom Force allows the player to build literally millions of different powers via our custom power system. The system is very granular and allows the player to tweak powers in a very detailed fashion, apply special effects to them, etc. We plan on releasing more information on this soon. Our goal is to support gamers so they may be able to create any superhero or villain that they imagine to be part of the Freedom Force team in single or multiplayer.
