JoWooD announced the details of the marketing campaign for their upcoming RPG title Gothic II which is supposed to hit German stores on November 29. The rollout will be accompanied by massive advertising in movie theaters all over the nation (on more than 1.300 screens to be exact) in connection with the next Lord of The Rings movie. The 30 second Gothic II commercial is aimed at increasing the game's popularity outside of the gaming community.
In addition to the POS (point-of-sales) posters, stickers, folders, t-shirts and dummy boxes JoWooD produced a Gothic II DVD trailer for stores. A week before release the marketing campaign will branch out to TV and the print media.
