RPGVault´s Jonric has conducted an interview with Bethesda´s Morrowind Lead Designer Ken Rolston.

Here´s a taste:


    Jonric: What are the distinguishing aspects of the series in terms of design philosophies and goals, gameplay style and features?

    Ken Rolston: The Elder Scrolls CRPGs are famous for first-person action, an abundance of loot and quests, addictive power-gaming advancement ladders, vast worlds, and open-ended gameplay. They strive for depth, intelligence, and flavor in their settings, and for coolness in their lavish and comprehensive feature sets. With MORROWIND, the Elder Scrolls adds another distinctive feature: beaYOOtiful art design and graphic splendor.
