Another review of Disciples 2 - Dark Prophecy can be found at The Stratos Group. Rating is 3.8/5 - and this is their rather positive summary:
All in all, Disciples 2: Dark Prophecy is a curious quandary. On one hand you have some incredible graphics, gameplay, and it is extremely fun. Marring each of these features is the inability to change resolution and some strange design flaws that make the game rather awkward to play, and a multiplayer setup that not only appeared to require GameSpy Arcade for game matching, but that I could not get to work. In addition, it would have been nice to have a random map generator to increase the replay value, as there are only a few maps for multiplayer or single-player games if you are not looking to play through an entire saga again. Had this game sat in development for another month or two to resolve these issues I have little doubt that I would be suggesting that everyone pick it up.
