UK gaming site Deadalfs has posted a review of Phenomic's/JoWood's RPG/strategy hybrid 'SpellForce'. Rating: 8/10.
It was with a good dose of excitement that I installed and fired up 'SpellForce', having received a rather swanky press package through the post two weeks prior to receiving review code. SpellForce attempts to be both RPG and RTS all in one, and it pulls this off rather nicely. You begin the game in much the same way you would any RPG, learning the initial storyline, hitting a few critters for experience along the way and gradually enhancing your character with new garments, weapons and spells.
