It's always nice to see a game live up to its hype, but the real treat is when a title goes above and beyond expectations. City of Villains (CoV), an upcoming title developed by Cryptic Studios, is just such a game. Jack "Statesman" Emmert had three goals while developing City of Villains. He wanted to: Make sure people could play super villains.
# Make sure PvP was awesome.
# Make base building as cool as costume creation.
While City of Villains won't be in beta until July, from what I saw of the game, Emmert has certainly achieved all of these goals.
