Recent issues of both PC Gamer and Computer Gaming World magazines included 14-day Trial installs (program and key) for World of Warcraft. Previously, MMO commentators have decried this as an action taken by companies worried their game is in decline and are "desperate" to win back some players. However, this is not always the case, and one just has to look at their announced launch in Singapore after their achieved 3.5 million subscribers to know WoW isn't going anywhere except up anytime soon.
