Eurogamer has put up a preview of Divine Divinity. Not too long, alas. Here's a snippet:
There are three character classes to choose from when you start out - warrior, mage and survivor - but once the game is underway you can develop skills from any of these three "ways", giving you a wider range of abilities to pick from. For example, if you choose to focus on your survivor skills you can learn how to sneak past guards, lay traps and mines to kill pursuers, and release scorpions to distract your enemies. Following other career paths may allow you to make yourself temporarily invisible, teleport short distances, or view and manipulate objects through walls. This means that killing monsters with a large blunt instrument is not the only way to get past them and complete the game.
