Most of the time, we really don’t like hype. As beneficial as hype can be to short term sales, it only ever leads to disappointment once all the fuss has died down. Look at how Killzone, a competent FPS on the PS2, which was all but crippled by early claims that it would be better than Halo. World of Warcraft has received an extraordinary amount of hype, but the question is, can it possibly live up to it?
