World of Warcraft just ended the closed beta portion of its development. The emails were released on Thursday, thanking us all for our assistance and participation, assuring us that we would not soon be forgotten, but essentially letting us know that we'd have to spend our Halloween weekends somewhere other than the Elwynn Forest or Dun Morogh. Looking back, the letter did have a certain "last call" ring to it -- "You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here."
