Strange as it may sound, I think that PCs are a great medium for playing card-based combat games. It beats having to buy expensive decks, finding other people to buy expensive decks, finding a place to play and then arguing over the precise protocol for playing a Shifty Graver Robber card while an Exploding Corpses spell is in effect. Etherlords II, as with Etherlords, is an entirely original PC-only card-based strategy game.
