The Dofus team has posted a formal outline of what constitutes 'scamming' and what the penalties are for discovered scammers. While all proven wrongdoers will be punished, players are warned that in most cases Dofus will not restore any cash or items lost to unscrupulous players.
All scams are forbiddden: they are against our terms of service and the law.

For example:

  • passing yourself off as an admin, moderator or game-master

  • passing yourself off as the owner of a house and trying to sell it (note that the purchase of a house is done with the context menu found on the door of the house).

  • all other fraudulent acts.

In many cases the "victims" are either too naïve, or people who tried to gain an advantage from an illegal act or one against our terms of service. So, except in very rare circumstances, we will not return items or kamas stolen from these people. The moral of the story is "Be responsible".
