A press release on Interplay's site announces Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance 2 has gone gold:
LOS ANGELES/IRVINE, CA - January 2, 2004 - Interplay Entertainment Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: IPLY) and Vivendi Universal Games (VU Games) announced today that the highly anticipated Baldur's Gate™: Dark Alliance™ II has gone gold and will ship to retail on January 20, 2004. The game will be distributed by VU Games in North America and Asia-Pacific (excluding Japan).
BG:DA2 has likely been ready a while but Interplay's dispute with VU last year slowed the release.
