This press release at MMORG announces yet another MMORPG, Lost Continents. Here's a part of the press release:

Welcome to the action-packed, two-fisted world of Lost Continents!

BOULDER, November 28,2001 -- VR1 Entertainment, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pacific Century CyberWorks Japan K.K. ("PCCW Japan" JASDAQ: 7954) announces today a new title in development, Lost Continents™, a massively multiplayer RPG in the tradition of Jules Verne, King Kong and the pulp serials of the 1930's.

Lost Continents brings more than sixty years of serial thrillers and pulp adventure stories to life in this massively multiplayer online action adventure. Create your own hero. Interact with thousands of other players. Explore lost cities. Face down supernatural evil and weird science-and save the world!

Enter the world of Lost Continents, where you're the hero. This massively multiplayer RPG is slated for a 2003 release from VR1 Entertainment. Lost Continents, the fourth massively multiplayer title VR1 has released, will be built on the proven networking technology of VR1 Conductor™, and features the now second-generation Tesla engine, first used on Nightcaster™, VR1's first-party Microsoft Xbox title.

"Our team is very excited about this title. We'll be taking the genre in an entirely fresh direction with its setting, and with the addition of Private Zones™, we'll bring the game's focus onto each individual player." said John Blakely, Executive Producer.
