Thanks to Michael Askounes, Managing Editor from Gamer's Press for letting us know that they have published their review of UbiSoft's/Stormfront's Pool of Radiance 2. The review turns out to be rather devastating for PoR2. The game only scores 4 out of 10 points and the conclusion sounds like it's the don't-touch-me kind of game:
I simply don’t understand how a game under development for so long can be as buggy and boring as this one - it’s one of the most underwhelming titles I’ve played in quite some time. While some of the technical pieces are in place, it’s apparent that the overall game play experience needed much more tweaking - although I’m not sure how much more money should’ve been dumped into development of this game.

I will say that some folks seem to love this game - I can’t figure it out, but I guess if you like your games slow-paced you may like it, too. As for me - there are too many good games out there for me to waste 80 hours of my life playing a clunker like Pool of Radiance. Here’s hoping SSI gets it right next time…
