Gameport has published an interview with David Allen, head honcho of Pharaoh Productions and former lead guy at Artifact Entertainment. David talks about Dominion, and we serve you a snippet here:
Q: Can you tell us something about realms and cities and their relation to the history of the Dominion land?

The realms are the places of adventure for the players, and the cities are the havens for the players. There are two cities in the game – Coven, the city of the Protectors, and Yetro, the city of the Destroyers. Coven is above ground, and Yetro is below-ground. The realms come in many different flavors – above ground, below ground, deserts, forests, mountains, plains, and more. The worlds of DOMINION will be very diverse.

Q: Races are split into two “clans” Protectors and Destroyers. Is there some deeper meaning or you just want to split the land on two separate parts?

The different clans are very important – one side represents creation and the side of light, while the other side represents destruction and the side of darkness. In PvP-enabled games, players will team up with their own clan-related people and fight against the opposing clan. Also, both ‘clans’ have a very different and distinct look and feel to them.
