A new Horizons Dev Diary was published at RPGVault today. Artifact Entertainment creative director David Bowman talks about player characters in the game:
You can choose to play as a chocolate skinned, beautiful, young, slightly muscular, short dark haired, Human female or as an obese, old, bald, pale Human male with tattoos on his chest. You can slide your character's waistline from thin to fat... hmmm maybe a potbelly would look better on a Goblin. And, if you like, slide the muscularity up so that you appear a bit more pumped. Maybe green eyes would be better than brown for you. Or, if humans aren't your vision of your inner self, choose to be a Fiend with the same ability to select your body morphology, gender and age but with the added variability of a selection of tails and horns from which to choose. If this is still too mundane for your tastes, go ahead and select to play a dragon. You'll need to select which head best suites your style as well as the pair of wings into which you'll eventually grow. You'll want to modify the different areas of color from which you can choose, tinting your chest scales differently than the thick scales that cover your spine. |
