A preview of Shadowbane has been posted at GamesDomain. Here's a bit from that preview:
Shadowbane is a bizarre hybrid of several games. There's a little of Ultima Online in there, yes, and a little of Everquest, but also a healthy slice of Diablo II, not to mention some wholesale resource management in the style of a real-time strategy title. The game itself is player-versus-player oriented, with a solid RPG base behind it. Early levels in a player's life are likely to be taken up with the standard hack and slash you've come to expect from online RPGs: kill monsters, get experience points, loot their corpses and sell what you get. In fact, there's really nothing startlingly original about the early combat - if you have the misfortune to choose a pure melee class to start with, you might go as far as to get a bit bored since, once you've initiated combat, it's a matter of chance and your stats as to who wins. Select attack mode, double click on the creature you wish to attack, and wait for the combat to pan out.
They have some screenshots included, and I sincerely hope this game will offer more than it shows...
